OVER P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by authorities during a buy-bust operation launched in Angeles City over the weekend.
Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon said the illegal drugs were recovered from two high-value individuals identified Z Anisa Carsada and Jayary Dimate, both natives of Marawi City.
Confiscated from the duo were 26 sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) weighing 200 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1.36 million.
The suspects who were also arrested during the operation will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
