ROY Yanson was elected anew as president of the Sugbo Transit Express Inc. during the company's annual stockholders' meeting held on April 30, 2021, in Seda Hotel, Bacolod City.

Based on the press statement of lawyer Juan Bernardo Yulo, legal counsel of the four siblings of the Yanson family, the annual meeting of Sugbo Transit Express Inc. shareholders was held was attended by stockholders representing 66.67 percent of the outstanding capital stock of the corporation.

Roy Yanson, Emily Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina Lopez, and Ricardo Yanson Jr. were elected by the shareholders anew as members of the Board of Directors of the corporation for the year 2021-2022.

The shareholders ratified all acts and transactions of the Board of Directors and management of the corporation under the leadership of its President Roy Yanson.

In the organizational meeting that followed, the Board of Directors elected Roy Yanson as chairman of the Board of Directors and president, Ricardo Yanson Jr. as vice-president for Maintenance, Ma. Lourdes Celina Lopez as treasurer and chief financial officer, Emily Yanson as corporate secretary, Anna Isabella C. Galvez as assistant corporate secretary, and Carlo Joaquin T. Narvasa as vice-president for Legal, Yulo said.

Yulo added that the new directors of the company also vowed to continue court actions to unravel minority shareholders' activities and their pretense to act on behalf of the company despite the absence of any legal basis for them to do so.
