Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella visited the CCSC early Monday morning to inspect the facility and instruct Jundel Bontuyan, CCSC manager, to strictly implement health protocols.

The track oval will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays, and 5 a.m. until noon on Sundays to give way for disinfection.

Bontuyan earlier said facilities such as the room for Zumba and belly dancing will follow and that the swimming pool will be opened last for public use. No specific dates for their reopening were disclosed.

The entrance fee to access the track oval remains at P20.

Bontuyan said they may limit the number of individuals inside the track oval at any one time to just 200 in accordance to health protocols.

When the issuance of tickets reaches 200, the persons who did not make the cutoff will have to wait in the waiting area. (JGS/JJL)
