IN AN aim of helping more Kapampangans, a businessman has launched the first-ever Rolling Community Pantry in the province.

According to Shiwen Lim, organizer of the community pantry, they launched the program to reach more Kapampangans who need relief assistance due to the pandemic.

Lim said they are planning to bring the various goods such as vegetables, eggs, rice and other groceries loaded in a wing van to different cities and municipalities of the province.

"We tried to innovate the idea of community pantry to further help our kabalens who need assistance. Through the rolling pantry, we are able to help more communities," he said.

As of Saturday, May 1, 2021, Lim said they were able to serve about 1,000 individuals from the cities of Angeles and San Fernando, and Arayat, Sto. Tomas and Mexico towns.

The rolling pantry is also scheduled to visit the municipalities of Sta. Ana, Floridablanca, Apalit, Macabebe and Mabalacat City on Saturday, May 8.

"We will go around the province and share our blessings to fellow Kapampangans and Filipinos every Saturday," he said.
