2 busted over ‘shabu’ in Calbayog

TWO persons were arrested on Monday, May 3, 2021, for alleged selling and possession of shabu in Cabayog City.

Police identified the suspects as Efren Rosello and Armando Julaton, both listed as high-value individuals.

An undercover operative was able to buy four sachets believed to be containing shabu worth P20,000 from the suspects around 11:50 a.m. Monday in Barangay Rawis, Calbayog.

The team confiscated from Rosello four sachets of shabu as subject of sale, and buy-bust money.

Also seized from his possession were a sachet of shabu, cash, personal items, and a motorcycle.

Authorities confiscated from Julaton two sachets believed to be containing shabu, cash, some personal items, and a motorcycle.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (SunStar Philippines)
