Pampanga posts highest new Covid-19 cases in Central Luzon

THE province of Pampanga reported the highest number of new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Central Luzon on Wednesday, May 5.

Based on the data released by Department of Health (DOH)-Central Luzon, Pampanga, including Angeles City, logged a total of 194 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday.

Bulacan came second with 168 fresh cases, followed by Nueva Ecija with 109, Bataan with 29, Tarlac with 24, Aurora with 16, and Zambales with eight.

As of Monday, May 3, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the region was 88,807, of which 8,048 are active, 78,357 recoveries and 2,041 deaths.
