“The same statements would still hold true even to this day. We stand in solidarity with our colleagues and all frontliners. Our enemy is Covid-19,” sumala sa the PCP-CV.
Ang gipasabot sa ilang grupo mao ang Chong Hua Hospital Doctors Elfleda Hernandez, usa ka infectious disease specialist, ug Yvonne Bettina Montejo, usa ka pulmologist, pulos nagdumala ug nihatag og medical care ni anhing Barili Mayor Marlon Garcia sa wala pa kini namatay niadong Septiyembre 6, 2020. sud sa naasoy nga ospital.

Ang Office of the Cebu City Prosecutor, base sa iyang 34-page resolution, nirekomendar sa pagpasaka og kaso sa korte batok sa duha ka mga doktor.
Ang kaso nagsumikad sa reklamo nga gipasaka ni Jima Tiano-Garcia, asawa ni anhing Mayor Garcia nga nag-akusar sa duha ka mga doktor og medical negligence ubos sa Title XIV of the Revised Penal Code and Other Related Penal Legislations.
Si Assistant City Prosecutor Verna Merelos, kinsa nagsuwat sa resolution, nagkanayon nga ang depensa sa duha ka mga doktor nga nanghimakak, naghimo sa ‘best standard of care’ sa pasyente ug ang limitasyon nga gisitar sa pamilya sa namatay nga “all evidentiary in nature and should be ventilated in a full-blown trial.”
Si Cebu City Prosecutor Liceria Lofranco-Rabillas niaprobar sa resolution ubos sa rekomendasyon ni Deputy City Prosecutor Maria Luisa Ratilla. (WBS)
