Labella meets with PCSO in fight vs. illegal STL

CEBU City Mayor Edgar Labella recently met with Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Royina Garma to tackle measures on how to combat illegal small town lottery (STL) in the city.

During the private meeting, Garma said that PCSO is ready to assist Cebu City in its fight against illegal STL.

Labella attended the meeting also as chairman of the Regional Peace and Order Council 7.

In a news report by Superbalita Cebu, Garma said that PCSO is losing P12 million a day to illegal STL in the Cities of Cebu and Mandaue.
