Man arrested for allegedly molesting step daughter

A MAN wanted for alleged child molestation was arrested by authorities in Arayat town on Sunday, May 9.

The suspect, identified as Alex Ocampo, 39, was arrested in Barangay Batasan, Arayat after hiding from authorities for some 19 years.

Ocampo was sought by the law for allegedly molesting his then minor stepdaughter in their house in Barangay Batasan.

He was nabbed by virtue of an arrest warrant for violation of Special Protection against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination issued by the presiding judge of Branch 45 of the Regional Trial Court in the City of San Fernando.

The suspect is in custody of Arayat police pending the schedule of his trial.
