The purpose of the conference was to create a peace and development agenda aimed at addressing the social concerns of the farming/fisherfolk sector and to provide a platform for addressing legitimate sectoral issues and concerns of the sector along with other sectors of society.

Participants of the conference were representatives from the Agriculture and Fishery Council headed by the RAFC Chairman Engr. Francisco Hernandez, facilitated by DA-Central Luzon’s End Local Communist Armed Conflict Program Focal Person Arleen Torres and OIC-Chief of the Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division Noli Sambo.
