BCPO gets more fuel assistance

THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has received an additional P10,000 worth of gas coupons from the business groups in Bacolod City.

The gas coupons were donated by the Southern Negros Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Negros Occidental Filipino-Chinese Amity Club Inc. headed by Frank Carbon for the anti-criminality campaign of BCPO.

The gas coupons were turned over by its representative Crispin Chua to Lieutenant Rondyl Tapang, chief of Tactical Motorcycle Riding Units (BCPO-TMRU), with BCPO Director Colonel Manuel Placido at the BCPO headquarters on Monday, May 10.

Placido, in a statement, said they are thankful to the business sector for helping the city's police.

He said the fuel assistance will be used by the motorcycle-riding police patrollers in their intensified police visibility and a more area/distance coverage by TMRU-BCPO.

He added the fuel support from the business group is a big help in the conduct of crime prevention operations through sustained police visibility to rid of the opportunity of motor-riding criminals to perpetrate their crime within the BCPO area of responsibility.

Last April, Chua also turned over to BCPO P10,000 worth of gas coupons donated by the Northern Negros Filipinos-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
