THREE additional vaccination sites in Cebu were opened on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, to help hasten the inoculation of private sector workers under the Project Balik Buhay's (PBB's) Covid-19 vaccination initiative.
Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, Department of Health (DOH) Central Visayas spokesperson, said the additional inoculation sites are the Mactan Doctors' Hospital, Visayas Community Medical Center and the Mendero Medical Center.
Cebu now has a total of six inoculation sites for its ongoing vaccination for senior citizens, healthcare workers and individuals with comorbidities working in DOH-registered and local government-approved private companies in Cebu.
The first three vaccination sites were the Cebu Doctors' University Hospital in Cebu City, Chong Hua Hospital in Mandaue City and the Allegiant Regional Care Hospital in Lapu Lapu City.
Meanwhile, the PBB on Tuesday also announced that it is currently finalizing and reviewing all company applications from its existing database of approved registered companies for any corrections or revisions to allow newly hired employees or those who previously hesitated to be inoculated with the Covid-19 vaccine to still be covered under the program.
