Octogenarians from Macabebe contracts Covid-19

THREE octogenarians from Macabebe town, Pampanga tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, a report said.

The first patient was an 89-year-old female from Barangay San Rafael here who was exposed to her coronavirus-positive grandson.

She experienced difficulty of breathing a week after her visit to her grandson and was immediately brought to a hospital.

The elderly passed away hours after receiving the result of her swab test, which turned out positive.

Meanwhile, another 88-year-old woman from Barangay Sto. Rosario here also tested positive for the virus.

The patient, who was asymptomatic but still isolated in a private hospital as of reporting, has not reported any travel history but has known comorbidities such as hypertension and diabetes.

Another octogenarian, an 88-year-old woman from Barangay San Vicente here also contracted the virus.

The patient has a known travel history to Laguna and comorbidities including hypertension and diabetes prior to contracting the disease.

The patient was manifesting symptoms such as loss of sense of taste and body pains and was still admitted to a private hospital as of reporting.
