3 Nigerians arrested in Angeles City for illegal drugs

THREE foreign nationals who were allegedly involved in illegal drug trade were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Angeles City recently.

Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon identified the suspects as Harrison Steve, Christian Uwadiegwu and Caleb Njemonze, all Nigerian nationals.

De Leon said investigation revealed that the suspects are members of notorious “Mr. IZO” drug group under “COPLAN SNOOPDOGG,” who are engaged in gun-running, illegal drug trafficking and other illegal activities operating in Angeles City and nearby municipalities.

The trio yielded 11 sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) weighing 25 grams with an estimated value of P170,000, a tumbler containing 35 grams of marijuana with estimated worth of P3,850, guns and ammunition and other personal belongings.

Cases for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Illegal Possession of Firearms and Explosives law will be filed against the suspects.
