FOR her 25th birthday, artist Jessica Villarubin recorded a gift not just for herself but for all who are struggling to feel comfortable in their own skin.
In her new single under GMA Music entitled “Beautiful,” Jessica aims to uplift and encourage others to know their self-worth.
The song was composed by Marie Elisha Rodriguez. It’s a dance track that symbolizes Jessica’s transformation into a confident and empowered performer who is speaking up for those who are bullied, or for those who are too shy or afraid to speak for themselves.
“Not everyone has the strength to be confident in themselves. Others are shy, afraid, or have experienced bullying like myself,” said Jessica. “I want to remind them also that God made us beautiful. I hope this song will really inspire you to be brave, to get out of your shell and be the best version of yourself.”
As the song goes “to show the world who you truly are,” Jessica wants to inspire others through her journey to be brave no matter what people might say.
Jessica will also be performing her new single and launching its music video on May 23 in the weekend musical variety program “All-Out Sundays.”
