Positibo sa coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) ang mayor sa lungsod sa San Isidro, Leyte.
Pinaagi sa post sa Municipality of San Isidro, Leyte Facebook page, si Mayor Remedio Veloso nipasabot niini sa publiko.
Matod sa mayor, sa miaging Mayo 12, nag-positive siya sa anti-gen rapid test.
Ang iyang mga doktor miabiso kaniya nga magpa-admit sa ospital aron ma-monitor siya pag-ayo.
Niadtong tungora, wala una nagpagawas og pamahayag ang rural health unit (RHU) sa lungsod.
“The reason that RHU-San Isidro did not issue any statement on the same date because there was no confirmatory test yet and to prevent unnecessary panic in our municipality,” matod sa mayor.
Niadtong Mayo 14, Sabado, gipaubos sa RT-PCR test ang mayor ug nagpositibo gyod kini sa Covid-19.
“But I assure you, that I am doing well now. By God’s grace, I do not have any Covid-19 symptoms such as difficulty of breathing and fever,” dugang sa mayor.
Isip pagtuman sa protocols, ang mayor ug iyang pamilya gipaubos sa strikto nga quarantine.
