YOU are what you make of yourself; be happy; life is short. These are some of the modern philosophies many have been wont to preach to each other via social media. And the coronavirus added more: wash hands, wear masks, distance socially, get vaccinated.
Objective in the case of the pandemic prescriptions: to go back to the "normal" sans the pandemic prescriptions. Substratum as always: to live happily ever, live life to the hilt. Except that since Adam and Eve's original sin, suffering has always been partly the lot of humankind. And in these times of pandemic, more and more people worldwide are suffering.
I leave theologians and philosophers trying to explain and find reason for suffering, because our Lord Jesus Christ Himself never left us without counsel on this.
On May 7, 2004, Jesus told Anne a Lay Apostle (whom I stressed in a previous column as being backed by two bishops and a world-renowned Mariologist) as follows on suffering:
"My faithful ones have always suffered in the world, in some way or another. If you understand that this is a time of suffering and that your suffering is redemptive in nature, you will not anguish over the fact that you are suffering. Many of My little ones make their suffering far worse than it has to be by bemoaning that they are suffering at all. Do not say to yourself, 'It is unfair and unjust that I suffer.' Say to yourself always, 'I will give my suffering to Jesus for the sake of the work He must do to save others.' Say to yourself, 'I am sinful in nature, despite my knowledge and belief in God, so any suffering I do is just, because I have sinned.'
"Now little ones, I have forgiven you everything many times over. Many of you have difficulty understanding the depth of My forgiving nature and you confess the same sin, sometimes several times. You are forgiven and I forget your sins, but I ask you to suffer, not because you are sinful creatures. I ask you to suffer because many of the souls you work and live with every day may choose to go to hell if I do not have this suffering with which to obtain the great torrent of grace necessary to convert them.
"There is little time. Even given the fact that earthly time and heavenly time differ, there is little time. Many of you will see these great changes. Many of you will see a shift in the earth so great that a vast area will be destroyed, never to become habitable again. There will be no rescue and rebuilding in this area. The damage will be complete.
"These souls alone must be assisted and this is only one of the events that will affect humanity in the days before the great darkness. The earth will be entombed by this great darkness but there will be survivors and they will then reclaim the earth for God.
"I must tell you that heaven will be prepared to accept souls in great numbers. All in heaven will be busy, working to welcome the little ones who have suffered in the world. There will be joy, such joy, because it is always far worse to anticipate difficulty than it is to actually experience it.
"My little ones fear change. I understand. It is for this reason that I send these words. I want My faithful souls. It makes me happy to suffer for you, as I am suffering now, and in my own body to do what I can to make up for all that is still to be undergone by Christ for the sake of his body, the Church to be prepared for great change. If you are following Me, your Jesus, then you are ready.
“Do not hoard earthly things, little ones. This is not the time. All is Mine. Be generous with your brothers and sisters who have little. This is My wish for you and truly, it is for your benefit that I ask you to be giving. You will be so grateful later. Remain united to Me and all will be well." (End of quote.)
In many governments, those who say things against pandemic vaccinations are mocked as "conspiracy theorists." They have become almost terrorists of the pandemic times when almost suddenly, the world sees Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson etc, vaccines as a messiah from a worldwide curse, the one path towards going back to " normalcy."
But some credible Catholic mystics have received messages from Heaven that seem to counter such vaccine faith, way back when no one even suspected that Covid-19 would come to be. Such was the message received by mystic Luz de Maria de Bonnilla allegedly from our Blessed Mother on October 8, 2015 (note the year), as follows.
"But there are so many human beings who blame My Son for their diseases, or fatalities in the families, and they blame Him and detest Him even more! This is the hubris that Satan himself instills in souls so they will detest My Son and join the files of Satan who has prepared the stage for the Antichrist. Misused science has penetrated the pharmacological industries so these will dare create vaccines contaminated with viruses so human beings will carry death or diseases with them. My children, why do you feed and continue to feed on the garbage with which the great globalists want to eliminate most of the world population?"
More recently, on May 12, 2021, Luz also received the following message from our Blessed Mother:
"It is urgent that you consecrate yourselves to My Immaculate Heart and be respectful towards Sacred Scripture and the true Magisterium of the Church. Do not waver; do not become lost in false currents that separate you from the Truth proclaimed by My Son.
"Pray for My Son’s Church; be souls of reparation before the Trinitarian Throne....
"Conversion is urgent because of the imminent fulfillment of what I have announced to you.
"I remain with you: do not fear -- I am your Mother, My Son entrusted you to Me. I will not abandon you: come promptly to Me.
"In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph."
