SM CITY Olongapo Central recently opened “Paw Park,” the first indoor dog park featuring 10 obstacle courses for pets.

The indoor dog park agility obstacles include a frame, dog walk ramp, seesaw, weave poles, tube tunnel, adjustable dog hurdle, wall jump, adjustable tire jump, and pause table.

Pet lovers can use the dog park for free after filling out an online registration form. Dog park etiquette and safety rules are posted at the Paw Park entrance for everyone’s guidance and protection.

Present during the launching of Paw Park at SM City Olongapo Central were Olongapo City Vice Mayor Jong Cortez with his furbabies Hugo, a male toy poodle and Arya, a female boxer; City Councilor Lugie Lipumano-Garcia with her furbaby Dusty, a male corgi; and Veterinarian Gregg Sumalbag.

“SM has provided generously a place for our pet babies to play along with us. Thank you SM for investing in our fur children,” Vice Mayor Cortez said in his speech.

The indoor dog park was opened after the success of SM City Olongapo Downtown’s outdoor dog agility park.

Other upcoming activities for pets at SM City Olongapo Central include pet blessing, fur paw-shion show, paw-mazing treats-raffle promo and bark-tastic pose-digital photo contest.
