CDC to install more trash bins in Clark

CLARK Development Corporation (CDC) is set to install more trash bins in a bid to preserve cleanliness around Clark Freeport.

This after Soliman E.C. donated 60 additional sets of trash bins with 20 sets of metal frames.

According to CDC President and Chief Executive Officer Manuel Gaerlan, the additional waste bins will help minimize litter in the freeport and encourage the public, especially park visitors, to place their trash in designated bins.

“With these additional trash cans, people would have no excuse not to practice responsible waste disposal in Clark,” Gaerlan said.

The donated materials were personally handed over by Soliman E.C. President and Chief Executive Officer Epitacio Soliman Jr. to Gaerlan.

Also present during the turnover ceremonies were CDC Vice President (VP) for Admin and Finance Engineer Mariza Mandocdoc, Vice President for Security Services Group Retired Police Brigadier General Sheldon Jacaban, CDC VP for Legal Affairs Group Attorney Josep Jepri Miranda, CDC Assistant Vice President for Business Development I Thelma Ocampo, Assistant Vice President for Administration Ma. Zoraida Camello, and CDC Chief-of-Staff Dennis Legaspi.

Soliman E.C. Senior Operations Manager Gilben Roxas, Romuald Dean Soliman, and Epi-Jay Soliman were also present during the activity.

Midori Hotel and Casino earlier donated 96 sets of color-coded trash bins that were installed in various locations here.

CDC is dedicated to raising environmental consciousness not only in the freeport but also in its surrounding communities.

The CDC-Environmental Permits Division led by Engineer Rogelio Magat, has also carried out various activities to maintain a sustainable, clean, and green environment in the freeport.
