Barmm gives life-saving equipment to Marawi hospital

THE Ministry of Health in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-Barmm) has given medical equipment and supplies to boost the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) response of the Amai Pakpak Medical Center (APMC) in Marawi City.

Dr. Bashary Latiph, MOH-Barmm minister, said that among the equipment the APMC received were two mechanical ventilators, three high flow oxygen machines, personal protective equipment, and various Covid-19 medical supplies.

Latiph turned over Friday, May 21, the supplies to Dr. Shalimar Sani-Rakiin, APMC hospital chief.

Rakiin expressed her gratitude to MOH-Barmm for its life saving support to APMC in its continuing battle with covid-19.

Meanwhile, Latiph committed to employ more nurses to APMC to address its workforce shortage on its covid-19 facilities. (SunStar Zamboanga)
