More sectors get aid from board member

MORE sectoral groups received food packs from former Lubao mayor and now Second District Board Member Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab during distribution events in Guagua and San Simon towns Tuesday, May 25, 2021.

Cayabyab visited solo parents from the 14 barangays of San Simon where some 600 recipients took home food packs of rice, canned goods and other food stuff.

Cayabyab said the distribution aims to support vulnerable sectors amid the ongoing pandemic and ease the economic burden the pandemic has on families and other sectors.

The lawmaker also visited the Gawad Kalinga village in Guagua town where she distributed 106 food packs to families who are part of the less privileged sector.

Board Member Tonton Torres, who accompanied Cayabyab in Lubao, thanked the board member for extending the support to vulnerable families in Guagua town.

Some 1,000 beneficiaries in Guagua are also set to receive food packs from Cayabyab.

The food packs are an initiative of the Pineda family for the people of Pampanga.
