NEGROS Occidental Provincial Capitol employees will soon go back to the normal five-day workweek.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will issue an executive order for the return of the five-day workweek, as coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases have been declining and that the province was already classified under low-risk areas.
At present, four-day workweek is being observed at Capitol offices since last April.
Diaz also said that on Tuesday, May 25, two Capitol employees tested positive for coronavirus.
He said, though, that 13 employees who underwent the 14-day quarantine after testing positive for the virus are due to get out from the provincial healing center in Mambukal Resort in Murcia.
Diaz said some measures are being undertaken at the Capitol, like the setting up of receiving area outside the airconditioned offices and a non-airconditioned area where Capitol employees could get an al fresco area located on the third floor of the multi-purpose building to take some relief and avoid airconditioned offices.
