RPAB approves P750M worth of project proposals for Cebu, Bohol

THE Regional Project Advisory Board (RPAB) of the Philippine Rural Development Project-Regional Project Coordinating Office 7 (PRDP-RPCO7) approved on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, four project proposals from different towns in Cebu and Bohol worth P750 million.

The approved project proposals are:


• Moalboal Integrated Potable Water System

• Catmon Integrated Potable Water System


• Rehabilitations and upgrading of Desamparados (Calape)-Tabuan (Antequera) farm-to-market road with four bridges

• Cataban Potable Water System

These have been approved in a mass motion by the RPAB. They will be endorsed to the Project Support Office-Visayas for the issuance of a No Objection Letter.

The RPAB consists of regional heads from different government agencies who review, suggest, guide, and approve subprojects that are worthy of endorsement to the higher level of approving bodies in the cluster or national level under the PRDP.

PRDP is a national project under the Department of Agriculture that aims to establish a modern, value chain-oriented, and climate-resilient agriculture and fisheries sector. (NRC, PR)
