HUNDREDS of solo parents from Masantol recently received assistance from Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab.
Pineda-Cayabyab distributed grocery packs to a total of 800 Masantoleño solo parents under the Pandemic Assistance for Kapampangan Families program.
The board member has been leading relief operations in different areas in the province to bring aid to vulnerable sectors of the community.
"We understand the severity of the effects of Covid-19 to everyone's livelihood so our family try to reach out and assist as many Kapampangans as we can," Pineda-Cayabyab said.
Mayor Danilo Guintu, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the board member and the Pineda family for always remembering Masantoleños.
"In this trying time, any kind of assistance is valuable but Board Member Mylyn did not only give assistance but also personally visited our town to check on us here and that is very touching," he said.
Aside from Pineda-Cayabyab, Board Members Pol Balingit and Nelson Calara also assisted in the distribution of grocery packs.
