Subay sa impormasyon sa Kapitolyo, ipadala ang mga espesyalista sa Obstetrics ug Gynecology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, ug Pediatrics ug Anesthesiogy ngadto sa mga Dakbayan sa Bogo, Carcar ug Danao ug Lungsod sa Balamban ubos sa Practice-Based Residency Training Program ubos sa VSMMC.
Si Dr. Gerardo Aquino, hepe sa VSMMC, nangulo sa gihimong courtesy call ni Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia sa Provincial Capitol naidtong sa Hunyo 1, Martes, nipadadayag sa ilang programa sa ospital sa kalungsoran.
“They are graduates of the four major services needed in our provincial hospitals. They can now help our provincial hospitals in their cases,” matod ni Aquino pinaagi sa Sugbo News.
Nagpasalamat usab si Garcia sa gipakitang suporta ni Aquino sa Probinsya pinaagi sa maong paagi.
“Dako kaayo ni nga tabang sa atong provincial hospitals kay mao gyud ni ang atong gikinahanglan nga mga espesyalista sa major services. I thank all of the graduates who will be joining our provincial hospitals...First ni siya ug groundbreaking kay atong gipakita nga mahimo kaayo nato ang pagtinabangay sa local government unit ug sa national government,” matod ni Garcia.
Gipasalig ni Aquino nga gawas sa suhol ug incentives makadawat usab og allowance ang mga doktor.
“It is one of our objectives to raise the confidence of the community with the presence of FaMed-trained (Family Medicine) doctors accredited by the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians in our district and provincial hospitals,” matod ni Aquino.
Ang VSMMC usa ka general tertiary medical center nga dunay kapasidad ug pasilidad alang sa pagbansaybansay sa mga espesyalista.
Gipanag-iya kini sa nasudnong kagamhanan ug gipundohan sa Department of Health (DOH).
Niadtong 2019 nagkasabot ang kagamhanan sa probinsya, DOH-Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH-CVCHD) ug VSMMC nga mohimo og Practice-Based Residency Training Program.
