AN ESTIMATED P34,000 worth of shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride was seized in a drug bust by operatives of Police Station 4 in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City Thursday evening, June 3, 2021.
The operation also led to the arrest of John Arenal, 19, of Barangay Banago.
Police records showed the suspect was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover around 6:30 p.m.
Police recovered from Arenal’s possession six sachets of shabu and the marked money.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 4. He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, a robbery suspect was arrested by operatives of Police Station 9 in Purok Mabinuligon, Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City Friday morning.
Police identified the suspect as Loel Jhon Sacares, 33, of Barangay Sum-ag.
Police Major Ritchie Gohee, chief of Police Station 9, said the suspect was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant for robbery in an uninhabited place or private building (Revised Penal Code Article 302) for his service of sentence.
The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Montano Cordova Medel of Regional Trial Court, Branch 2, Bacolod City.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 9.
