THE City Government of San Fernando, Pampanga on Saturday, June 5, 2021, urged establishments that have already received the safety seals to adopt the StaySafe.ph digital contact tracing application to strengthen the contact tracing initiative of the local government unit to effectively contain the spread of Covid-19.

This came after the City Government provided the safety seal to some six malls here that have been found compliant with the minimum public health standards (MPHS) set by the government.

SM City Pampanga, SM Downtown, SM Telabastagan, Robinsons Starmills, Waltermart, and Vista Mall secured and displayed their safety seal at their entrances on Friday, June 4, after passing the assessment and inspection of the local government.

The safety seal is valid for six months from the date of issuance, except for those issued to tourism enterprises which shall be valid for one year.

It is renewable as long as the establishment sustains strict compliance with MPHS and other eligibility requirements.

This may be also revoked by the issuing authority or due through a valid complaint.

Meanwhile, City Local Government Operations Officer Marites Quillope urged other business establishments to apply for the safety seal to safely re-open the city’s economy.

The local government unit is now assessing and inspecting other establishments eligible for a safety seal.
