A HUNDRED patients in eight quarantine facilities have been given hygiene kits.
Mayor Jerry P. Treñas thanked the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office-Western Visayas and its Multipurpose Cooperative for giving the “KitKontraSakit” consists of face masks, multivitamins, alcohol, face towel and reading materials to cope with stress and anxiety amid the pandemic.
“The additional hygiene kits from DOST are a big help to address the problem brought about by rising cases and the need to stay healthy,” stressed Gab Umadhay, head of City Hall’s Quarantine Facility Management.
The initiative aims to make sure patients are safe while they are in the stage of healing process. (PR)
