Pampanga confirmed Covid-19 cases reach 22,000

THE total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pampanga has reached a total of 22,049 cases, according to the latest report of the Department of Health (DOH).

Of the confirmed cases, 1,327 are currently active, while 20,007 cases have recovered.

The DOH also said that 715 people have died of the disease.

The Pampanga Information Office (PIO), however, reported slightly different numbers.

In its social media account, the PIO said the total confirmed cases in Pampanga are currently at 20,546, while active cases are at 2,530 with 17,026 recoveries.

The number of deaths in Pampanga, as per PIO, is currently at 990 cases, 10 cases short before reaching the 1,000 mark.
