How did you start with radio?

I was discovered in a Sinulog event. DJ Bebe Gatla of Yes was my coordinator at that time. He asked me if interested ba ko to be a part of Yes the Best. Without hesitation, I said YES because it has always been my dream to speak on air and be a part of the radio industry. As an anchor in our broadcasting team during my high school years, my communication skills was honed and my love for speaking motivated me to join Yes the Best Cebu.

Kumusta imong first radio job sa Yes?

Super fun and exciting pero ari ko ma-challenge sa paglingaw sa mga tigpaminaw. These people have different personalities and it is important that as a dj, you know how to be flexible to meet the satisfaction of your listeners. Another is dealing with the comments. Dili malikayan nga duna gyuy ikastorya ang mga tawo but as they say, you cannot please everyone.

Unsa diay imong trabaho sa una?

I’m actually a freelance Cebu-based event host and a beauty queen. I was Miss City of Talisay 2018 finalist, Miss Oslob 2019 and Miss Eco-warrior of the South 2019. Usa sad ko karon sa mga kandidata sa Miss Queen of Hearts Philippines 2021. I’m hoping nga suportahan ko sa mga Cebuano. Hopefully, I’ll be able to bring home an international crown for Cebu and get to represent not just Cebu but the whole Philippines on an international stage in God’s grace. The announcement of Top 10 will be on June 11 at 8 pm. The Top 10 will be travelling to Manila for the coronation night on June 27, 2021 at the Dusit D2 Hotel, Bonifacio Civic Center, Taguig City.

Duna na bay niduol nimo aron kuhaon kang artista?

Wala pa but who knows? Haha.. I am not closing my doors. Kon unsay ihatag sa Ginoo, atong dawaton sa way pagkusmod.

How do you describe yourself?

I am a goal-driven person. I always go for decisions that scare me the most because I believe that if you are scared, there is growth. Kung naa koy ganahan maabot, paningkamotan gyud na nako nga makuha.

Any weird experiences like mga indecent proposal or kulit nga listeners?

Ubay-ubay gyud hahaha... dunay mga mo-go beyond the limits pero depende ra gyud na sa imong pag-deal sa mga ing-ani nga klase sa tawo. I hope magkat-on pud sila to respect us.

Are you in a relationship?

Yes, but he’s not a dj and dili pa sad mi engaged. Wa pa sa hunahuna ug wala pa say plano.

Hangtod kanus-a kaha ka magpabiling dj?

I am not leaving the radio industry any sooner. I love my job and I love making my listeners happy. As long as naa pay maminaw ni Inday Mikay, magpabilin ko sa pag-alagad nila sa kahanginan.

Ikaw na ba ang bag-ong prinsesa sa masa?

Siguro, I would say I could be. Hahaha.. I never really consider myself as prinsesa sa masa pero given that I have a huge heart for the people ug sa kinasing-kasing nako nga pag-alagad sa masa, basin tuod og ako na ang bag-ong prinsesa sa masa.
