2 more San Fernando villages drug-cleared

TWO more barangays from the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, were cleared from illegal drugs.

This city's chief of police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark said the two new drug-cleared barangays are San Felipe and Sto. Rosario.

This brought the total number of drug-cleared barangays to a dozen or nearly 35 percent of the total 35 villages in the capital city, said Clark.

Other villages already drug-cleared are Pandaras, Saguin, Pulung Bulu, Panipuan, Malino, San Isidro, San Juan, Lara, Juliana and Sta. Teresita.

The chief of police said continuous anti-illegal drug operations are being conducted to attain the goal of making the whole city drug-cleared.

"We still have two barangays namely Del Carmen and Dela Paz Norte which we are applying for drug clearing validation," Clark said.

He warned personalities involved in illegal drugs to stop their illegal activities or face the retribution of the law.

"We will never stop until the last drug suspect is accounted for and is put behind bars," Clark said.
