WELTERWEIGHT veteran All Rivera is in for another tough assignment as he takes on unbeaten prospect Omar Juarez in a 10-rounder on June 27, 2021 at the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
Rivera looks to bounce back after a unanimous decision defeat in the hands of former world champion Rances Barthelemy on Jan. 30, 2021.
This is the 28-year-old Rivera’s first time fighting more than one fight since 2018. He fought Heri Adriyanto in 2018, Malik Hawkins in 2019 and Rodel Wenceslao in 2020.
On the other hand, Juarez is a 22-year-old American prospect that made his pro debut in 2018.
He’ll be tested against an experienced fighter in Rivera.
Juarez has already fought once in 2021. He beat Elias Araujo by unanimous decision.
Rivera is 21-5 with 18 knockouts, while Juarez is 11-0 with five knockouts.
The Rivera vs. Juarez fight kicks off the telecast of Premier Boxing Champions’ “FOX PBC Fight Night” that features World Boxing Association super middleweight king David Morrell Jr. (4-0, 3 KOs) defending his belt against Mario Cazares (12-0, 5 KOs). / EKA
