Christian-inspired cafe opens 1st branch

NEWLY opened MWG Café offers a tranquil space for coffee lovers to hang out and engage in their love for a good cup of joe.

Located at the TTM Bldg. in Nasipit, Talamban, MWG (Miracle Working God) is a Christian-inspired themed café with an industrial-style interior and proverbs written on the walls.

It is owned by mother-and-son tandem Simona Banks and Moe Selma.

Moe discovered his love for coffee during one coffee cupping event in Cebu. After thorough research and several trainings, Moe convinced his mom Simona to be his business partner and open a café with him.

The café proudly uses local coffee beans for its coffee line-up which includes Oreo frappe, dry cappuccino, flat white, cafe latte and espresso, to name a few.

MWG Café also offers food items that complement its coffee menu such as cookies and pastries baked by local artisans.

One can visit MWG Café from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. / MARYMIL M. CABRERA
