A PAINTER and two others were arrested in separate anti-drug operations Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Zamboanga City.
Police Major Shellamie Chang, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspects as the following: Eduardo Rivera, Jr., 38; Junel Lim, 22; and, Jay-R Alih, 20.
Chang said that Rivera was arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation around 3:45 a.m. Saturday along Scout Limbaga road in Pasonanca village.
Chang said that recovered from the possession of Rivera were some P2,700 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money consisting of two P100 bills.
Chang said that Lim and Alih were arrested in a buy-bust around 1 a.m. Saturday in Tetuan village.
She said confiscated from the two were a gram of suspected shabu packed in 13 heat-sealed plastic sachets worth P6,800 and P200 marked money consisting of two P100 bills.
She said the suspects were detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be file against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
