Covid-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro now at 635

THE total number of coronavirus-positive individuals vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro was now at 635, city epidemiologist Dr. Joselito Retuya reported on Wednesday, June 16.

According to Retuya, of the 635 vaccinees, 453 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine while 176 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca vaccine.

Of the 453 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 302 individuals or 66.7 percent have already completed their doses of the vaccine.

"And yet sila nakitaan gyapon nato og Covid-19. Ato lang i-further ang pag analisar sa ilang mga kaso niining mga Sinovac cases nga nakitaan nato og Covid-19," Retuya said.

He added that out of the 453 Sinovac vaccinated individuals, 71.9 percent or 326 vaccinees experienced mild symptoms and around 105 were asymptomatics.

"Gamay ra gyud kaayo sa tanan ang dunay moderate symptoms or dunay severe symptoms nga nabakunahan sila sa atoang Sinovac vaccine," Retuya said.

Of the 176 individuals who were vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine, 19 vaccinees or 19.8 percent completed the two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Meanwhile, the total number of City Government employees who tested positive for the novel coronavirus increased as well, now at 231.

Retuya said 89 percent or 206 persons already recovered from the virus and have started working again, while 25 were active cases.
