Central Luzon posts 2.47% Covid-19 fatality rate

THE case fatality rate for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon is just 2.47 percent, the Department of Health (DOH) regional office reported on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

The DOH added that the region posted 2,967 deaths out of the total 120,339 confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Meanwhile, the number of active cases in region was 5,213, most of which are manifesting mild symptoms of Covid-19.

The number of recoveries also remains high with 112,159 or over 93 percent of the total confirmed Covid-19 cases.
