THE Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), under the leadership of retired police general Aaron Aquino, has warned the public against a group that uses his name and asking cash donations.

CIAC Vice President Irish Calaguas said they have received reports that the scammers are asking money from Aquino's friends in the business sector and other stakeholders of the corporation.

She added that this is a clear scam and crime by using the name of the CIAC head to gyp money from the people.

Aquino is not in any way involved in this illegal activity, according to Calaguas.

Calaguas urged the public to report similar acts to CIAC for immediate actions.

"Kung mayroon po kayong natanggap na ganitong kahalintulad na scam messages, maaari pong i-report sa: (045) 599 2888 local 102, 103, 119;

FB Messenger: Clark Aviation; Email: ciaccco2019@gmail.com,” she added.

CIAC had already coordinated with the Anti Cyber Crime Units to stop this group.
