2 Nigerians yield illegal drugs in Mabalacat operation

TWO Nigerians, along with their four Filipino cohorts, were arrested inside a drug den and kush (high grade marijuana) and shabu were confiscated from them during a drug bust launched by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Provincial Office around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021.

The operation happened on San Juan St. Villa Teodora, Barangay Dau.

The PDEA identified the suspects as Nigerian Kingsly Anaelechi, 37, a resident of Barangay Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga; Nelson Okafor Jr., (Nigerian) 25, a resident of San Rafael, Tarlac City; April Wright, 25, of Barangay Dau, Pampanga; Eric Desuyo, 29, a resident of Mabalacat, Pampanga; Norwin Carpio, 20, also a resident of Mabalacat, Pampanga; and Ralph Joseph Yalung, 25, of Barangay Duquit, Mabalacat, Pampanga.

The operation yielded 30 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P204,000, more or less 30 grams of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated value of P3,600, MOL 2 grams of high-grade marijuana (kush) with estimated value of P2,000, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (JTD/With Glenn Guillermo/PDEA)
