A 28-YEAR-OLD wife in Calatrava town, Negros Occidental was shot to death by her husband Thursday night, June 17, 2021.
Killed was Sendy Ambasing of Sitio Cabesa Antero in Barangay San Isidro in the northern Negros Occidental locality.
Initial investigation showed that the wife and her husband, 32-year-old Alex Ambasing, had a heated argument inside their room.
Authorities said jealousy was allegedly the cause of confrontation.
A few minutes after, the suspect shot his wife in the head using an unknown firearm. He fled.
The victim was brought to the hospital, but she did not survive.
A hot pursuit operation is ongoing to arrest the suspect, who is facing parricide charges.
