Cops distribute food packs on Father's Day

POLICEMEN in Mabalacat City have distributed food packs to scores of family heads in Madapdap resettlement during the celebration of Father's Day Sunday, June 20, 2021.

The city police, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Soledad Elefanio, continue to roll out its Barangayanihan food program to assist families severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Madapdap Chairman Javier Taruc assisted the cops during the distribution of relief goods to dads in the resettlement site.

More or less 100 beneficiaries were given rice, canned goods, noodles, eggs, and hygiene kits, according to Elefanio.

During the activity, Elefanio reminded residents to strictly observe the minimum health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Colonel Arnold Ibay, Pampanga police director, commended the Mabalacat police for their initiative.

We also appeal to all kind-hearted and well-meaning kababayans to help provide for the less fortunate or most vulnerable sectors in the community in order to sustain our BARANGAYanihan in the province," Ibay said.

Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon, for his part, stated that the PRO-Central Luzon Barangayanihan still continues regionwide

He extended his gratitude to those who contribute to their project.
