IT IS written in the bible as the first commandment of God to "Honor your father and mother," - Ephesians 6:2, and Ephesians 6:1-4 states," Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother,” this is the first commandment with a promise, “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
On June 20, the world marked the celebration of Father's Day, and families all over the world took the time to celebrate this special occasion with their fathers in various ways.
Facebook, the most prominent social media platform served as the catch basin of all the greetings intended for all the fathers quoted from photos, memories, greetings, and prayers as sons, daughters, and the family, in general, expressed to one of the pillars of the family- the father.
With the Covid-19 pandemic, families found ways on how they celebrated this special day be it in a simple tone or by putting up a celebration such as hosting lunch or dinner in honor of the father either at the confines of their homes or outside while observing the safety and health protocols.

Churchill Aguilar, our editor-in-chief, has this message to his father, "We grew up grumbling that papa could have done better as a father in a lot of things, but when we all became dads we realized fatherhood is everything but a walk in the park. We were not even half as good as our old man. So with humility and much gratitude, I would like to greet my old man a Happy Father's Day!
