THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with the local government of Masantol, opened on Friday, June 18, 2021, the Negosyo Center located at the Municipal Hall grounds.

DTI Provincial Director Elenita Ordonio, who led the launching, said the facility in town is the 21st Negosyo Center in Pampanga.

She said the opening of Negosyo Center will provide various kinds of assistance to budding and existing micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs).

This includes assistance in business registration, business advisory services, business information and advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation.

"The opening of Negosyo Center in town is very timely, as we will be able to deliver faster the assistance needed by MSMEs to recover from the pandemic," she said.

Mayor Danilo Guintu, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to DTI for finally opening Negosyo Center in the town.

He pledged the full support of the local government for the programs of DTI that will help local businessmen in town.

He urged MSMEs to avail themselves of the services offered by the Negosyo Center to help them establish and flourish their businesses.

"Almost all businessmen were affected while displaced workers have shifted their livelihood by opening their own business so maximize the assistance offered by the Negosyo Center to boost your livelihood," he said.
