Ubos sa ordinansa, ang mga OFW ug ROF ipaubos gilayon sa swab test sa pag-abot ug i-quarantine lang sa duha ngadto sa tulo ka adlaw samtang magpaabot sa resulta sa swab.
“I called all of them to remind them that this is still a government of laws and not of men and as such in Cebu there is an existing ordinance which clearly spells out the swab on arrival protocol and if found negative within two or three days, may go home to continue their quarantine at home,” pagpasabot ni Garcia.
Kon mosaylo ang gidugayon sa pag-quarantine sa mga OFW ug ROF, mag-atubang kini og mga sumbong.
“Holding them beyond the two or tree day period when there is an existing law in the province of Cebu could expose them to possible charges of kidnapping and serious illegal detention as well as resistance and disobedience to a person in authority or agents of such person,” pagpasabot ni Garcia.
Sukwahi kini sa mga lagda sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases nga nagmando sa pagpailawom sa mga OFW ug ROF swab test sa ikapito pa ka adlaw.
I-quarantine una sila og pito ka mga adlaw sa mga hotel una pa ang swab test.
Kon negative, ilang humanon ang quarantine sa balay sud tulo ka adlaw aron matuman ang 10 ka mga adlaw.
