Floridablanca folk get jobs through Tupad

A TOTAL of 860 Tupad beneficiaries in Floridablanca will be given emergency employment under the Tupad (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers) program.

The program aims to provide employment to various sectors. This is under the initiative of Mayor Darwin Manalansan in collaboration with Vice Mayor Michael Galang and Municipal Council members.

Some 435 beneficiaries signed a contract on June 4 and received PPE at the Kasudlong Public Market in Barangay Solib. The 425 beneficiaries first attended the orientation and PPE distribution on June 3, 2021.

The staff of the Public Employment Service Office (Peso) Floridablanca and DOLE Pampanga led the explanation of the Tupad rule, DOLE's emergency employment program for informal workers.

Tupad beneficiaries will conduct community service in their respective barangays for 10 days. They will receive a regional daily minimum wage.
