Magalang mayor gets 2nd dose of Sinovac vaccine

MAGALANG Mayor Romulo Pecson received his second jab of the CoronaVac vaccine (Sinovac) at the Magalang vaccination center.

The Municipal Government is conducting inoculation at the town plaza to priority groups A1 or health workers, A2 or the elderly, and A3 also known as persons with health conditions.

As of June 14, 3,436 MagaleƱos from said priority groups got their first shot of vaccines, while 729 completed their two doses of vaccine.

The vaccines administered are Astrazeneca and Sinovac, which were donated by the Department of Health (DOH).

The Municipal Health Office recorded seven new patient recoveries and seven new confirmed Covid-19 cases in the town.

The local government appealed to the public to always follow the minimum health standard set by the DOH to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
