TWO cousins, aged 11 and 14 years old, died from an apparent drowning in Mayorga, Leyte.
Initial investigation disclosed that the victims and their family went to the beach at Barangay Liberty, Mayorga on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
Police said the victims were allegedly “left unattended by their guardians while swimming when the incident happened.”
The victims were declared dead by the attending physician.
Authorities are investigating the incident. (SunStar Philippines)
