GIVE IT to the millennials, including my daughters Kristine Ann and Sophia Celina to come up with unusual but fascinating names for newborns.
MaceJaxxen, born September 16, 2020, is their nephew and my 16th grandchild, is the newest addition to our growing brood. At nearly 9 months old. he has shown signs to be a precocious child given the proper care and love by her mother Janine.
Like infants his age, Mace starts his early waking hours at 4 a.m. each day with loud shrieks for milk and a new diaper. His mother usually cuddles him, soothes his excited feelings and when he calms down, his handler Airah or Sara takes him out for a stroll at Bayanihan park, Fiesta Communities.
Bath time for Mace happens at 9 o'clock and then put to sleep (again). Such is the routine for infants like Mace Jaxxen.

What's in a name? I remember a child named Britannico (after the famous reference book, Encyclopedia Brittannica). Alas, he turned out to be boring and a slow learner that his parents could only raise their hands in frustration!
Others are simply named Ambrosio and Bartolome, but turned out to be smart, studious and are always at the top of their respective classes, before the pandemic.
Mace will observe his first birthday on September 16 this year. He exhibits his jolly spirit after being bottle-fed and had enough sleep.
What amuses me no end is his dexterity with his fingers as if he is thumping an imaginary snare drum. He has the signs of being an adept drummer when he grows up.

His cousins by his other uncles and aunts are contributing to the positive growth of Mace. On Sundays and dates of family celebrations, the grandchildren are boisterous and game-savvy and contribute to the celebratory noise in our household.
I desire for them to communicate often and maintain a close band among themselves.
The other ones like TJ and Nash are engrossed in Mobile Legends games emulating their uncle, Reginald Don, a mean ML player. Of course, I make sure they finish first their school modules.
