Magalang toddler contracts Covid-19

A ONE-YEAR-OLD boy from Barangay Santa Cruz, Magalang town, Pampanga has acquired the Covid-19 virus, the local government unit (LGU) said on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

No other information about the toddler was disclosed by local officials, but he is one of the four new cases of coronavirus in the town.

The other three new patients included a 73-year-old man from Barangay Santa Maria, a 42-year-old man from Barangay San Vicente, and a 63-year-old man from Barangay Barangay Camias.

The Municipal Health Office confirmed that three patients had recently recovered from Covid-19.

At present, there were 63 active cases in the town, according to the local health office.

The LGU is appealing to the public to always follow the minimum health standard set by the Department of Health to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
