CEBU pride Añejo Gold Rum bags back-to-back win as the Monde Selection International Quality Institute gave the rum brand its second consecutive Monde Gold Quality Award.
The Monde Selection, founded in Brussels, Belgium, is the world’s most prestigious body that recognizes the highest standards of taste and quality in food and beverages since 1961.
The Monde Gold Quality Award recently given to Añejo Gold Rum places the rum brand as among the world’s best in quality and taste.
“The back-to-back Gold Quality Award from Monde Selection cements the position of Añejo Gold Rum to be a high-quality product in the market. Añejo Gold Rum is aged for 12 years, and the longer that rum is aged, the better and smoother is the quality of the drink. These qualities make it the perfect drink to cap a long day at work,” says Brand Manager Ryan Abuan
Produced in the province of Cebu, Añejo Gold Rum was launched by Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI) in 2017. Since then, it has gained patronage in Visayas and Mindanao, winning the hearts and taste buds of rum lovers in the region.
The drink was even been featured during CNN Philippines’ “The Scoop” coverage for Rum Festival in Bacolod and Best of Cebu events.
Añejo Gold Rum is made with imported alcohol that has been aged in oak barrels for 12 years giving it a smooth, aromatic, and flavorful experience with just the right kick of alcohol at 65 proof.
Ideal for drinking straight, on the rocks, or as your favorite rum cocktails, Añejo Gold Rum is available in 350ml and 700ml bottles.
