3 foreigners nabbed for drugs, guns

THREE foreigners were arrested by police authorities in Mabalacat City on Wednesday, June 30, for their alleged involvement in the proliferation of illegal drugs.

Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon identified the arrested personalities as Flabien Jerome Noah Omgba, Yves Emmanuel Bidias Wanko, and Prosper Henri Junior Essomba Mbarga, all African nationals.

The suspects were arrested during the implementation of warrant of arrest against a certain Enzo Omgba for alleged violation of Republic Act (RA) 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunitions Regulations Act.

However, the target of the arrest warrant was able to evade arrest onboard a beige Hyundai Tucson bearing plate number TOQ 865 upon sensing the presence of police officers.

Seized from their possession of the arrested individuals were one caliber .45 pistol, one caliber 380 pistol, and various types of magazines and ammunitions.

The foreign nationals also yielded five sachets of methampethamine hydrochloride (shabu) weighing 15 grams, two sachets of dried marijuana leaves weighing five grams, and 45 pieces of suspected ecstasy, all with estimated value of P250,000.

Cases for violation of Section 5 and Section 11 Art II of RA 9165 and RA 10591 are being prepared against the suspects for filing before the Prosecutor’s Office.
